From Miami to Key West, no ordinary drive.
On April 24th, we hosted our first Octane Club rally in the United States. A completely new setting, a new environment, and a route that had been on our minds for a long time. From the start, it was clear: this would be something special.
We kicked off the day at an incredible location: a private yacht in Downtown Miami, in collaboration with Royal Yachts Miami. With the skyline as our backdrop and a lineup of cars waiting at the marina, it was the perfect start to the day.
Guests arrived, grabbed coffee, met each other and received their briefing and goodiebags, setting the tone for what was ahead: a curated experience with great people and unforgettable moments.
After the start, we headed out of Miami towards one of the most iconic roads in the world: the Overseas Highway.
Driving across bridges surrounded by endless ocean views, the first part of the route immediately delivered. Clear roads, strong energy within the group and a feeling of freedom that’s hard to describe, this is what driving is about.
Around midday, we arrived at Morada Bay for a secluded beachside lunch.
Feet in the sand, palm trees, ocean views and a relaxed atmosphere, the perfect moment to slow down, connect and recharge. Conversations started to deepen, and the group really began to come together.
After lunch, we continued south towards Key West.
The second part of the drive felt more relaxed. Less about pace, more about enjoying the surroundings, the cars and the people. The road, the light and the atmosphere made this stretch something truly memorable.
We arrived in Key West just before sunset, marking the end of an incredible day on the road.
The evening continued with a group dinner overlooking the marina, followed by drinks in town. A perfect mix of good food, great conversations and a lively atmosphere, exactly the way to close a day like this.
